Why people call us for this. Both cities exclude construction, demolition and remodeling debris from residential collection by ordinance — not by preference. Every kitchen remodel, roof tear-off and fence replacement in McKinney and Frisco falls outside municipal service by law. Frisco goes further: its construction waste page says using another contractor's equipment is not permitted within city limits, and its own container needs a $1,000 deposit.
