Landfill is the last stop, not the first.
Every load gets sorted. Usable furniture goes to local charities, metals and electronics go to recyclers, and only what's genuinely finished goes to disposal.
Donation first
Furniture in usable condition goes to local North Texas charities rather than a truck bed. Habitat for Humanity's Collin County ReStore also runs free pickup for large items — worth knowing about, though it comes with real limits.
ReStore requires you to live in Collin County, needs items in the garage or driveway rather than inside the house, takes no stairs or obstacles, and accepts large items only. Acceptance is at the driver's discretion. When that doesn't fit, we do.
Then recycling
Appliances and scrap go to metal recyclers. Televisions, monitors and computers are routed as e-waste rather than landfilled — which matters more here than most places, since Frisco bans electronics from curbside collection entirely and caps its collection center at two units a day. Clean wood and cardboard from remodels are separated where the load allows.
Disposal last
What's left — broken, soiled, or genuinely at the end of its life — goes to a licensed facility. Collin County waste routes through the North Texas Municipal Water District system; the Denton County side, including west Frisco and Little Elm, routes differently.

We don't publish a diversion percentage.
Plenty of haulers advertise a headline recycling rate. We'd rather tell you what we actually do with each category than quote a number we haven't measured across every load.
